When my wife Heather and I founded the company in 2007 we made the decision to get into the medical billing and medical practice management business for three reasons:
After spending nearly $20,000 on a “business opportunity” that offered no ongoing support, we quickly realized that we were in business for ourselves and by ourselves. For us, this was not a great position to be in – especially in a business that’s constantly evolving in a market place we didn’t have extensive experience in. In fact, we spent over a year, and nearly $90,000 prior to obtaining our first client! Disheartened, we began to question what we had done, where the money was spent, and ultimately where our business would be a year from that point.
Years later, with our trials and tribulations behind us, we have turned Quest Management Services into a profitable, money-making business with residual income.
Now that we’ve learned what works (and what doesn’t work) for our business, I’ve turned my focus to assisting those that jumped the same hurdles I, too, had to overcome and began training and supporting other entrepreneurs nationwide. In 2010, we took our business model and created a turn-key program. This medical billing business template would ultimately guide others looking to get into the field and create training programs that met the needs of people looking to do it themselves. Quest Management Services is now drawing in entrepreneurs looking to join a nationally recognized leader in the industry through a “Franchise Style” program that (literally) guarantees success.
